Fire at the Port of Durban
A fire broke out at the Transnet Port Terminals Agriport facility at the Maydon Wharf Precinct in the port of Durban at 03h45 on Saturday 16 October 2021, as per the notice found at https://www.wylie.co.za/LegalNotices. The fire was located at one of the export conveyors at the terminal and was reported to have been brought under control at 05h30. No information regarding the operational impact on the terminal is currently available.
