Today, 19 October 2015, the Competition Commission extended the deadline for completion of its health care industry market inquiry to 15 December 2016.  Originally scheduled to be completed by 30 November 2015, the notice of extension cites the extensive information received as the reason for the extension.  In light of the price cost guidelines relating to health care price cost comparisons recently published by the Commission, this is something for anyone involved in the healthcare industry to watch closely.
