Transnet has obtained a court interdict to stop the illegal strike action by employees at the Ngqura Container Terminal. The interdict also orders workers to increase performance levels. Transnet said that since the suspension of 11 employees, operational performance has improved. Throughput levels at Durban and Cape Town’s container terminals, which were also affected by the “go-slow”, are also said to have improved.
